Intervention Team
Left to Right: Teacher 1, Teacher 2
Russ Bedford –

I love my job because I get to work with children everyday and help them to learn, especially in the area of literacy. As a reading specialist, and a elementary education teacher, I know that one of the biggest obstacles to learning is that some of our students do not have the literacy skills to be successful. Nothing in education makes me happier then to help them overcome any such deficit. I worked at Holly Academy from 2007-2013 as a k-6 technology teacher and middle school social studies teacher, and I have been in charge of the Greater Heights Academy academic intervention department since the school opened in 2013. When I am not working I enjoy carpentry work, as well as hiking and being outdoors.
